Power Train is a family owned and operated repair and parts facility located in Lodi, NJ at 475 Westminster Place. Power Train specializes in the rebuilding of standard transmissions, front and rear differentials, transfer cases, and power takeoffs. The company was founded in 1975 by John Shimansky Sr. It is currently owned and operated by John Shimansky Jr. who is entering his 43rd yr at the company as of 2021. Power Train features a 2000 sq. foot parts department, stocking parts for GMC, DODGE, FORD, and JEEP axles as well as transfer case parts for New Venture , Borg Warner, and New Process. Transmission parts for Spicer, New Venture, Isuzu, and Fuller Roadranger are also stocked. Power Train also has a 2500 sq. foot repair shop with 3 truck lifts as well as ample space for bench work rebuilding.
